Patna, Feb. 11 -- Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the names of Dharmshila Gupta and Bheem Singh as its candidates for the biennial elections for Rajya Sabha from Bihar.
National General Secretary and office in charge of BJP at the centre Arun Singh said in a release here on Sunday that the Central election committee of the party has approved the names for the biennial elections for Rajya Sabha nomination process for which was already underway.
The biennial election will be held for six Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar notification for which was issued on February 27. The candidates can file their nomination till February 15 and the papers would be scrutinised on February 16. If necessary the voting will be held on February 27 and the ...
