Vijayawada, April 14 -- Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-President Kolanukonda Shivaji condemned the stone hurling incident in which Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy suffered a minor injury, and at the same time, the Congress leader expressed doubts on the incident.

Talking to the media here on Sunday, Shivaji said such violent incidents are detrimental to democracy. All democrats should condemn the incident. The right to vote should be used as a weapon to teach a lesson but violent incidents should not be carried out in a democratic nation, Shivaji stated.
