Hyderabad, March 17 -- The 16th All India Police Badminton Tournament (AIPBT)was inaugurated at Kotak Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy, here on Sunday.
Addressing on the occasion, Stephen Raveendra, Additional Director General of Police (HGs, Welfare & Sport) & Organising Secretary, said the event, organized under the aegis of All India Police Sports Control Board, aims to promote physical fitness, camaraderie, and healthy competition among police personnel through the sport of badminton.
The Tournament will witness fierce competition across various categories, including singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, as talented players from different police departments will be participating, he said.
