Islamic University, April 28 -- The authorities of Islamic University in Kushtia postponed three recruitment boards formed for hiring staff for the marketing department, vice-chancellor office and fine arts department of the university.

A press release, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan, was issued in this regard on Saturday night.

The postponement came a couple of weeks after the investigation committee formed by the University Grants Commission found evidence of corruption and irregularities committed by the Islamic University vice-chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam.
