Dhaka, April 6 -- The 35-year-old victim, a married man working as a readymade garment worker, went to a residential hotel with his lover in Paltan on Thursday night (April 4).
A rickshaw puller brought him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the morning (April 5), reports media.
DMCH police camp's in-charge Inspector Bachchu Mia said the man's lover Maksuda ran off with Tk 32,000 the victim had on him.
The man's relatives say they know nothing about the girl.
