India, Feb. 12 -- For the first time, the written exam for recruitment of Constables in Paramilitary forces such as CRPF, BSF, CISF etc., will be held in 13 regional languages including Kannada in addition to Hindi and English. The exam will be held from Feb.20 to Mar.7, according to an announcement by the Union Home Ministry.
The Ministry further said that about 48 lakh aspirants will be writing the exams in 128 cities and towns across the country. It may be mentioned here that the Union Home Ministry had declared in April last year that such recruitment exams will also be held in regional languages.
