Bhubaneswar, March 22 -- Soon after the BJP announced its plan to go solo in Odisha, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) too made it clear that the regional party will contest for all Lok Sabha and Assembly seats in the state in 2024 polls.

The Naveen Patnaik-led party also exuded confidence that it would win more than three-fourth seats in the state in the upcoming twin polls.

"BJD will contest in all 147 assembly constituencies and 21 Lok Sabha constituencies with the support of people of Odisha and win more than three fourth seats under the leadership of Naveen Patnaik," said BJD general secretary (organization) Pranab Prakash Das in a Twitter (X) post today.
