Bhubaneswar, May 12 -- At least 13 candidates of the total 40 in fray for five Lok Sabha constituencies in Odisha, scheduled to go for polling in the second phase on May 20, have assets worth over Rs 1 crore, said the ADR report today.

The Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR) released its report after analyzing the poll affidavits of all 40 candidates for five Lok Sabha seats-Aska, Bargarh, Balangir, Kandhamal and Sundargarh-in Odisha.

At least four candidates each of ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress have declared assets worth over Rs 1 crore in their poll affidavits, said the ADR report.
