Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- With forest fire incidents on the rise in several parts across Odisha and several of them being man-made, at least three poachers were caught red-handed last night by a team of alert forest personnel, while the trio was igniting fire in Karlapat sanctuary in Kalahandi district.

Taking to the official Twitter handle, PCCF (wildlife) & chief wildlife warden (CWLW), Odisha wrote, "Three Poachers trying to lit up fire in Karlapat sanctuary were arrested and two country rifles were seized yesterday night in Kalahandi district."
