KATHMANDU, March 19 -- Chairman of the ruling CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli has said that a parliamentary probe committee cannot be formed to investigate the involvement of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the misappropriation of cooperative deposits.

In his brief remarks to journalists outside the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor on Tuesday afternoon, Oli said it is not possible to form a parliamentary committee to investigate the misappropriation of cooperative funds.

"For what purpose should we form a parliamentary committee? It is not possible," said Chairman Oli.
