SURKHET, Jan. 31 -- The Karnali Corridor, linking China to the north from Karnali is set to become operational from Baishakh (mid-April to mid-May). The Nepali Army has reached the final stage of opening an 11 km stretch of hard rocky hill from Lalibagar to Dullikuna in Humla. "On the occasion of the Nepali new year, efforts are underway with the goal of operating vehicles to Simkot, the only district that is not yet connected to the national road network," said Major Amrit Parajuli, chief of the road construction task force of the Nepal Army.
