Jamshedpur, April 26 -- In a late-night altercation turned violent, Baradwari locality under the Sakchi thana area was rocked by gunfire as Rakeshwar Pandey's bodyguard, Mukesh Tiwari, fell victim to a shooting incident on Wednesday midnight. Tiwari sustained injuries in the abdomen and right thigh and is currently receiving treatment at Tata Main Hospital.
The assailant, identified as Manoj Jaiswal, was swiftly apprehended by authorities following the incident. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Officer-in-Charge of Sakchi thana, and City Superintendent of Police Mukesh Lunayat promptly arrived at the scene to oversee the situation.
