Bhopal, March 21 -- A screening committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to examine/recommend the proposals of the departments to be sent by the State Government to the Election Commission of India through the Chief Electoral Officer. Principal Secretary, General Administration and Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary/Secretary related to the departments presenting the proposal will be members in the committee.
During the Code of Conduct issued in the context of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, now no department will send its proposal directly to the Chief Electoral Officer or the Election Commission of India before the examination/recommendation of the Screening Committee. Before presenting the propo...
