New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- The "Remove Plastic, Save Environment" campaign was launched in New Delhi at 10:30 am on Monday. The initiative, under the leadership of Shobha Vijender, founder president of Sampurna, commenced at District Park Sector 9, Rohini, specifically in the vegetable and fruit market adjacent to Vinoba Kunj Apartment.

Before the launch, Vijender, along with Smita Kaushik, MCD Councillor, and former MCD Councillor Chitra Aggarwal, addressed the gathering, raising awareness about the harmful effects of plastic bags.
