Ranchi, Feb. 7 -- To resolve the problem arising out of the issue of expansion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi, MP Sanjay Seth met Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi. Seth told the Union Defence Minister that Ranchi Airport is to be expanded. Ranchi Airport has its own land for this. In the year 2007-08, mutation of about 123 acres of land was done in the name of airport. At present, the Indian Army is also calling this land as the land of its records. Seth urged the Union Minister that this is a matter between two ministries. Your intervention is required in this matter. The MP has requested the Union Minister to resolve this matter so that proper development of the airport can take place.
