Ranchi, April 28 -- Former MP Ramtahal Chaudhary, who joined Congress from BJP a month ago, has resigned from the Congress party. In a press conference held at the Press Club on Saturday, former MP Ramtahal Chaudhary said that the top Congress leader had made him join the party on the assurance of giving me a ticket in the Lok Sabha elections.
"I wanted to contest the election from Ranchi Lok Sabha seat. The Congress party kept it hanging for 15 days by talking about giving the ticket and at the last moment gave the ticket to someone else. This has hurt my dignity. I had not joined the party to carry a bag and a flag. Congress's victory was 100 per cent certain this time. But Congress has lost the winning game," said Chaudhary.
