Mumbai, March 12 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will end his ongoing 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' at the historic Chaityabhoomi at Dadar in north-central Mumbai, where late Dr B R Ambedkar was cremated a day after he passed away on December 6, 1956.
During the last leg of his 4,080-km 64-day Yatra, Gandhi will traverse through part of Maharashtra from March 12 to 17, before culminating his yatra at Chaityabhoomi.
The choice of Chaityabhoomi --- officially known as Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Memorial --as the culmination point for Gandhi's yatra should be seen in the light of the fact that the place is dedicated to the memory of late Dr Ambedkar. The place has a bust of the leader and statue of Lord Gautam Buddha.
