India, March 28 -- The process of filing nomination papers for the five Lok Sabha seats of Uttarakhand ended on Wednesday with a large number of candidates filing their papers. Congress party candidates from Garhwal, Haridwar, Nainital- Udham Singh Nagar and Almora (SC) constituencies filed their nomination papers on the day. The BJP candidate from the Nainital- Udham Singh Nagar Ajay Bahtt also filed his nomination on Wednesday.
In Pauri, the Congress candidate Godiyal filed his papers with a huge procession of supporters. After filing his papers Godiyal addressed a well attended rally at Ramlila Ground.
