Jalandhar, April 29 -- Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has escalated its efforts in curbing organized crime, achieving a significant breakthrough by apprehending a notorious gangster associated with the Gounder Group. The operation led by Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma resulted in the arrest of the gangster, who was found in possession of weapons and heroin.
According to Commissioner Sharma, the apprehended gangster had 14 pending cases against him, involving various organized criminal activities such as arms and drug trafficking, attempted murder, and extortion.
