BHOPAL, March 28 -- After being in depression for six months 72-year-old Nadir Rashid chairman of Bhopal's Hotel Jahannuma Palace, committed suicide by shooting himself. The incident is being reported around 9.30 am on Wednesday.
Nadir Rashid shot himself in the jaw in the bathroom of his home Shyamala Kothi in Nadir Colony in Shyamala Hills area.
Police received information about the incident at 10 am. Senior police officers and relatives of Nadir Rashid reached his house. Police sent the body to Hamidia Hospital for postmortem.
Nadir Rasheed has two sons, Zafar and Faza and aas a daughter, who lives abroad.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached Shyamala Kothi, the house of Nadir Rashid.
