BOKARO, April 29 -- Efforts to boost voter turnout in urban areas have been intensified by the State Election Commission's (SEC) continuous organization of various awareness programs. In this sequence, on Sunday, a "#VoteWalkathon" was organized under the chairmanship of the District Election Officer (CEO) and Deputy Commissioner (DC), Vijaya Jadhav who is playing a pivotal role in fostering a culture of democracy and civic responsibility in the region apart from normal routine exercises. The inauguration of the Vote Walkathon took place from Patharkatta Chowk, Sector 05, located in the Bokaro Steel City, culminating at Ram Mandir Chowk in Sector 02.
