Mumbai, March 31 -- In a boost to the prospects of the Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra, an organisation of Dalits "Bhimshakti" on Saturday extended support to the Congress and MVA candidates in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Announcing his party's support to the Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP (Sharad Pawar), Bhimshati chief and Rajya Sabha member Chandrakant Handore said that his organisation had decided to throw its weight behind the INDIA Bloc candidates to "defeat" the BJP's intent to re-write Constitution if it returned to power in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
