DEHRADUN, Feb. 2 -- The Uttarakhand Congress has termed the interim budget 2024-25 presented in the parliament by Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday as directionless and anti-people. The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara said that the Union government has shown its obstinate behaviour in the budget which is anti development, inflationary and retrogressive. He said that the budget lacks vision and the finance minister has done jugglery with data in the budget. Mahara added that the budget also lacks financial management and will add the burden on the common man already reeling under the menace of price rise.
