Ranchi, April 28 -- Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, Rahul Kumar Sinha held a meeting with the central team for the prevention of bird flu on Saturday. After confirmation of H5N1 avian influenza in the samples of poultry tested at the Regional Poultry Project, Hotwar, Ranchi, discussions were held regarding the culling of the remaining poultry within a radius of 01-10 km of the affected area, scientific disposal and complete disinfection of the infected area by scientific method.
