India, March 24 -- It took more than seven decades for the Government of India to launch a mission to take on the threat posed by illegal immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The guests who reached India from East Pakistan (since 1971 known as Bangladesh) were armed with a purpose. They were tools used by anti-India forces to create subversion and counter-subversion in India, making use of the lacunae available in the country's legal system of staying in India as authorised Indians.
