New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- While a full budget for 2024-25 will be announced after the new government is formed following the Lok Sabha elections later this year, the interim Budget allocation for the Ayush Ministry has been increased to Rs 3,712.49 crore for 2024-25 from Rs 3,000 crore (revised estimates) in 2023-24, recording a rise of 23.74 per cent.

The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) has been allocated Rs 14.63 crore while the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) allocated Rs 20.80 crore.
