Bhubaneswar, March 12 -- Legendry Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar's records in the ODI World Cup are unparalleled. From most runs to most centuries to most half-centuries, the 'Master Blaster' owns it all in the marquee event.
The former great played a grand total of 45 matches in the mega tournament, spread across six different editions, starting from 1992 to 2011. During his illustrious World Cup journey, India's greatest batsman amassed 2,278 runs, including six centuries.
Moreover, fans will be excited to know that Sachin scored his maiden World Cup century against minnows Kenya at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack in the 1996 edition of the marquee event.
