Guwahati, Feb. 10 -- In a press briefing on Saturday, M Asnikumar Singh, Spokesperson of BJP, Manipur Pradesh, provided insights into the recent Union interim budget 2024 and the white paper on the Indian economy.

Reflecting on the state of the economy in 2014, when the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government took charge in the Centre, Singh acknowledged the challenges posed by corruption, mismanagement and financial issues.

The emphasis was on instilling hope and attracting investments to overcome these challenges. The spokesperson highlighted the policy paralysis and project Dldelays faced by the previous United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, citing instances of corruption that shook public confidence.
