Guwahati, March 16 -- The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are set to be held in seven phases, commencing on April 19 and culminating on June 1, as declared by the Election Commission of India. Results will be announced on June 4.

In the first phase on April 19, voters across 102 parliamentary constituencies in 21 states will cast their ballots. Subsequently, the electoral process will progress through six additional phases, with the second phase on April 26 encompassing 89 constituencies in 13 states.
