Over 200 protesters detained at four US Universities over Gaza war
Afghanistan, April 28 -- US police forces detained over 200 individuals in raids on gatherings of pro-Palestinian students at four universities across the country.
These individuals were arrested at Washington University in St. Louis, Arizona State University, Indiana University Bloomington, and Northeastern University.
The New York Times reported that university authorities across the US are trying to prevent protests and growing demonstrations against the Gaza war in these locations.
On the 18th of April, Columbia University requested the New York City Police Department to evacuate pro-Palestinian students who had set up tents on its premises.
