Afghanistan, April 27 -- The head of the United Nations Mine Action Service in Iraq stated that Israel's attacks in Gaza have created 37 million tons of rubble, filled with unexploded bombs.

Pehr Lodhammar mentioned that 65% of the destroyed buildings in Gaza were residential, and clearing the rubble will take about 14 years.

Large parts of the Gaza Strip have been turned into ruins as a result of Israel's attacks.

The UN official stated that about ten percent of the fired bullets remain unexploded and need to be cleared by demining teams.
