Police recover explosives in Sopore village, one detained
Srinagar, Feb. 8 -- In a significant development, police has recovered a cache of explosive materials from a house in the Kraknshiven colony Sopore.
The materials, suspected to be used in the manufacturing of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), were seized during a targeted operation conducted by the police.
Police said that "Today around 0800 hrs, a operation named Caso was initiated by ops sopore with Ps Tarzoo and 52RR / crpf at Kraknkshiven village in connection with Fir No. 307/2023 of Ps Sopore.
