New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- The Rajya Sabha on Friday cleared three Bills related to Jammu and Kashmir including the historic Bill that seeks to add Pahari Ethnic Community to the list of Scheduled Tribes in the Union Territory.

According to details available with KNS, the Rajya Sabha earlier took up for consideration and passage three bills on Jammu and Kashmir that seek to provide reservation to Other Backward Classes in local bodies and modify the lists of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the Union territory.

After discussion the Rajya Sabha passed all three Bills that were earlier passed by the Lok Sabha with a thumping majority.
