Manipur, March 3 -- International Mother Language Dayis a worldwide annual observanceheld on February 21 to promoteawareness of linguistic and cultural diversityand to promote multilingualism. This day is also recognized as Matribhasha Diwas. The theme for International Mother Language Day 2024 is "To set goals for preserving endangered languages, promoting multilingualism, and sustaining linguistic heritage".
