Bhopal, Feb. 8 -- The Cabinet has decided to introduce the Yuva Swabhiman Yojana in the State. This decision was taken with the purpose of making the youth of the state self-reliant in the time to come and to give them professional skill training.
Under the scheme, urban youth have been given 100 days employment guarantee in a year.
The benefit of the scheme can be taken by such urban youth in 21-30 age group whose income is maximum Rs 2 lakh annually. Rs 4 thousand per month stipend will be provided to the youth.
The process of registration for this scheme will begin from February 10 in urban bodies. Six lakh 50 thousand youth of the state will be trained under the scheme. A financial burden of Rs 750 crore will be incurred in the imple...
