Jajpur, Feb. 17 -- A 65-year-old man allegedly attacked his daughter-in-law and later committed suicide at Badabaruneipada village under Panikoili police limits in Jajpur district on Saturday. The injured woman, who sustained multiple injuries in the attack, has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack in a critical condition.
Though the exact reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the incident could be the fallout of some family feud. However, further investigation in connection with the incident is on, police said.
