India, June 24 -- Tata Steel has sold its stake in Tata Motors to Tata Sons, the holding company of India's salt-to-software Tata conglomerate, for Rs 37.83 billion ($586.3 million). The steelmaker has sold about 83.54 million shares at 452.80 rupees apiece. 22-yr-old dies after car crashes into divider on flyover

Mumbai, June 24 -- A 22-year-old man from Versova died after he crashed his Volkswagen car into a divider on a flyover in Santacruz early on Thursday, police said.

According to the police, Azim Munshi was speeding and the accident happened as he was trying to overtake another car. Harley-Davidson plans to buy Ducati

Tashkent, June 24 -- U.S. motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson is lining up a takeover bid for Italian rival Ducati, potentially bringing together two of the most famous names in motorcycling in a deal that could be worth up to 1.5 billion euros, sources told Reuters.

Indian motorcycle maker Bajaj Auto and several buyout funds are also preparing bids for Ducati, which is being put up for sale by German carmaker Volkswagen.

Sri Lankan Cricket Head Coach resigns

Sri Lanka, June 24 -- Graham Ford has resigned as Head Coach of Sri Lanka Cricket.

With the culmination of ICC Champions Trophy, he flew to South Africa again for a vacation.

Ford whose nationality is South African has decided to resign from his post since the Sri Lankan Cricket team did not perform upto their standards at the ICC Champions Trophy.
