Minor pregnant, man held for rape

Gurgaon, March 24 -- A contractual employee of the electricity department was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl.

Police identified the accused as Manoj from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, who works in New Palam Vihar for power distribution company Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN).

Haryana revenue expected to grow by 12%, says Capt Abhimanyu

Chandigarh, March 24 -- Haryana finance minister Captain Abhimanyu on Thursday said adoption of e-tendering system has increased the revenue and that the government expects to achieve a growth of about 11% to 12% in revenue from auction of liquor vends.
