Bathinda, May 23 -- A farmer facing poor financial conditions committed suicide in Gill Kalan village by hanging himself on Sunday night. The victim has been identified as Gurnam Singh, 55. His body was spotted by the family on Monday morning. Poor financial conditions forced him to take the extreme step. Chandigarh, May 23 -- The first construction and demolition waste processing plant of Haryana will be set up in Basai village of Gurugaon at a cost of about 13 crore to make the city debris-free. The plant to be set up on a three-acre land and will have capacity to process 300 tonne of waste per day, a government spokesperson said.
