Patna, Dec. 11 -- Ninety students of the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (IIT-P) have secured placements with several leading companies in India, including multi national organisations, this year.

The IIT-Patna can cheer this year as one of its students from the computer science stream, has been offered an annual package of '36 lakh by a Japanese company based in Tokyo, professor Sumant Gupta, head of training and placement, IIT-P, said.

Top companies who have visited the institute for preplacement included Amazon, DIrecti, Arista Network, ISRO, Tata Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra, Larsen &Toubro, Capgemini and few more.
