Sri Lanka, March 21 -- The Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has officially communicated today (March 21) that they have accepted all the recommendations put forth by the Committee on Public Finance (COPF) regarding the recent salary revisions. This announcement was made by the Chairman of the COPF, MP Dr. Harsha de Silva.

In response to the COPF report on salary revisions, President Ranil Wickremesinghe has indicated that he will promptly appoint a committee to review the salaries. Until the committee concludes its assessment, any salary increases will be deferred, beginning next month.
