PANJIM, May 9 -- The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) on Wednesday hinted that the secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) results may be announced on May 15.

However, GBSHSE chairman Bhagirath G Shetye said that the date is tentative and not finalised as yet. The SSC examination was conducted from April 1 to April 23.

In all, 19,573 students, including 9,757 boys and 9,816 girls, had registered for the examinations conducted at 31 centres across the State.

In 2023, as many as 20,476 candidates had appeared for the examination.
