JAMMU, April 3 -- After imposition of MCC on 16-03-2024 pursuant to announcement of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 by Election Commission of India, the election machinery in Jammu and Kashmir under the supervision of Chief Electoral Office J&K swung into action and ensured that the guidelines by ECI regarding implementation of MCC are followed in letter and spirit.

As a part of action taken in this regard, 12963 defacements from Government, Public and private properties were removed by Flying Squads and MCC teams in a mission mode.
