SRINAGAR, April 3 -- The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of Officers at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex here to review the arrangements for festivals of Navratri and Baisakhi in the district.
During the meeting, the DC took department wise review of the arrangements to be put in place for smooth celebrations of the Baisakhi, the festival of harvest and Navratri the festival celebrated on New Year as per Hindu calendar to be celebrated with traditional enthusiasm and religious fervour on April 09 and April 13 respectively.
