Dar es Salaam, May 6 -- TANZANIA: AIR Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ibom Airlines Limited of Nigeria to train the latters pilots.

ATC Managing Director, Engineer Ladislaus Matindi confirmed over the weekend that they signed the MoU with the Nigerian airline that recently purchased a new Airbus A220 for commercial service.

He said that ATCL has provided its two senior pilots, who will be responsible for practically training the Ibom Air pilots and pilot teachers for six months.

“ATCL pilots will be responsible for providing practical training and ensure that pilots and their teachers have reached the standards required to fly the planes,” he said.
