Asia Rugby Division 1 kicks off in Colombo
Sri Lanka, April 30 -- The much-awaited Asia Rugby Division 1 Championship 2024 will commence, today heralding the beginning of the Asia Rugby season with Sri Lanka making a notable return to action. The tournament promises riveting matches as Sri Lanka hosts Qatar, Kazakhstan, and India at the Racecourse Stadium in Colombo. The opening ceremony will commence today at 4:00 PM.
In the curtain raiser, Qatar will face off against Kazakhstan at 4:00 PM at the Racecourse Stadium. The prelude to this event saw a press briefing held at the Union Ballroom, Hilton Colombo Residencies, yesterday, setting the stage for an exciting competition.
