India, Feb. 28 -- Volvo Car India has officially confirmed the launch of the EX30 and EX90 electric SUVs in the Indian market by 2025. While the launch timeline has yet to be revealed, here's what we know:

The EX30 is the Swedish carmaker's entry-level EV built on Geely's SEA platform that also underpins the Polestar 4. Overseas, the all-electric SUV comes with three powertrain options and two battery sizes. The base-spec EX30 gets a 267bhp rear-mounted motor with a low-cost 51kWh LFP battery, yielding a claimed range of 342km on a single charge.
