India, March 14 -- Tata Motors recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government. The automaker will invest over Rs 9,000 crore in the state to set up a vehicle production facility. This large investment is planned to be made over five years, creating job opportunities for around 5,000 people, either directly or indirectly. The MoU was inked in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, V Vishnu, IAS, Managing Director & CEO, Guidance, and PB Balaji, Tata Motors' Group CFO.
