India, Feb. 4 -- One of the nation's top producers of passenger cars, Tata Motors, has revealed its sales figures for January 2024 in a recent regulatory filing. The car manufacturer experienced a 12 per cent increase in year-over-year sales last month, selling 54,033 cars in the domestic market. In comparison, in January last year, the firm delivered 48,289 units. From 302 passenger vehicles sold in January 2023 to 400 units in other overseas markets last month, the automaker saw a 32 per cent increase in exports. The firm has benefited from the increasing demand for its SUVs, especially the Nexon and the Punch compact SUVs.
