India, May 1 -- Red Bull has confirmed Adrian Newey is leaving the team after almost 20 years. From his arrival before the 2006 Formula 1 season, Newey has been instrumental in turning Red Bull from a midfield contender to a dominant force in the sport. With his cars, Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen won seven titles as drivers and six as constructors. While Newey will be leaving Red Bull in early 2025, the company says he'll keep working on the RB17 hypercar, which will make its debut in July at Goodwood.
