Jakarta, May 5 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation, in collaboration with the Jakarta Provincial Government and state-run railway company PT KAI, is currently working on the expansion of Tanah Abang Train Station to improve services for passengers.

"We, together with the Jakarta Provincial Government and PT KAI, aim to elevate the quality of services offered to passengers at the Tanah Abang Station in the aspects of convenience, comfort, and accessibility," the ministry's Director General of Railways Risal Wasal remarked here on Sunday.

He said the Tanah Abang Station expansion project is set to conclude by the end of this year.
